To finish off a very busy period of travel for whisky events far and wide Rebecca Prunty and I headed to the amazing Mansfield Traquair events venue in Edinburgh tonight to host a tasting for around 80 guests eager to learn all about Scotch whisky. Perfect weather for a long walk through Venice! I had a superb couple of days hosting whisky tastings in Indianapolis at Storied Company and in Muncie for the members of the Muncie Whisky Society. Thanks so much to my hosts for having me host the tastings and for looking after me so well! I'm looking forward to seeing you all again soon! I travel half way round the world to find a bottle with my signature on the label! The weather turned in Los Angeles so we decided to head North to Californian wine country for a couple of days. The weather has turned in Los Angeles so we have decided to head North for a wee adventure. Just had a sandwich at the airport 32 USD plus tips. Came with free bag of crisps! Having a great time here in Los Angeles staying in Laurel Canyon and visiting lots of fine eateries, bars and pubs as well as taking in the scenery and bumping into lots of wildlife! I am back in London today to host a private whisky tasting in a favourite street, Savile Row. I absolutely love working in London especially in autumn and in places like Embankment. I get to host tastings in wonderful locations in the city and my guests are always awesome, the tasting in Savoy Hill this evening was no exception.
