I regularly host whisky tastings in London for all kinds of events and occasions in an array of different venues and settings. I have worked with whisky for more than 30 years and have been involved in every aspect of the industry. I used to be Distillery Manager at the largest malt whisky distillery on the West coast of Scotland, the iconic Caol Ila Distillery.

Distilled Events is totally independent. I don’t work for any brands and can present and talk about any whiskies that either myself or my client wants. I often present whiskies from places where I have lived or worked but they are always whiskies that I love. Our whisky tastings are as authentic as can be as well as fun and engaging.

Whisky and Chocolate Pairings for your Private Party or Corporate Event in London

During these very special tastings we serve classic single malt whiskies with beautiful handmade chocolates from The Highland Chocolatier in Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands. These chocolates have been specially prepared to pair perfectly with specific single malt whiskies.

A sit down tutored tasting usually lasts around 90 minutes to 2 hours but we can tailor it to work with the timings of your event. We can also offer this tasting on a very informal basis and works well as an add on to your event whether it be at a drinks reception or on a conference stand. It is a great way to engage with and entertain your clients whilst they network.

We are just back from hosting a series of whisky tastings at the O2 Intercontinental Hotel in London at the Forrester B2B Summit. We had a great time pairing beautiful hand made chocolates from The Highland Chocolatier in Grandtully near Pitlochry in The Highlands with wonderful single malt whiskies from around Scotland.

All of our whisky tastings in London are hosted by David Wood. David used to be Distillery Manager at one of the largest and most iconic malt whisky distilleries in Scotland, the mighty Caol Ila Distillery on the Isle of Islay in the Hebrides. London Whisky Tastings

We were back in London last week hosting private whisky tastings. We hosted whisky tastings for clients at two venue venues in central London. The first was at The In and Out Naval and Military Club in St James’s Square not far from Pall Mall. The second of our whisky tastings was at a venue where we have hosted many whisky tastings in the past, The Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall.
